About Me

Hey! I'm Kameel, a recent Software & Mechatronics Engineering graduate from the University of Calgary. I previously interned at Seequent as a Software Developer Intern, where I primarily worked on the UI/UX of a geotechnical analysis software. I also co-developed LifeLens, an award winning engineering capstone project. LifeLens is an AI-enabled multimodal system that transforms near real-time prehospital trauma audio and video into structured data for clinical prediction and decision support. In my free time, I enjoy creating full-stack web applications, and exploring various realms of software engineering and development. Outside of software, I'm usually watching sports, managing my fantasy teams, or playing video games.

LifeLens

Co-developed LifeLens, an AI-powered, body-worn emergency response system that captures and structures critical trauma care information in real time using audio, video, and NLP/computer vision models. The platform helps paramedics reduce manual documentation while providing hospitals with live updates on injuries, medications, and interventions to improve preparation and patient outcomes.

LifeLens Web Portal

Developed a simple web application to showcase how patient data may be visualized and interacted with using the data collected from the LifeLens paramedic device. Inlcudes interactive body map and timeline to showcase identified injuries and timestamped medications and interventions collected. There is also a secure AHS portal to view patient images.
